The two churches held masses as their respective churches Saturday morning, then after mass walked to the Ottawa-Glandorf Soccer field on O-G Road. The path from each church was lined with blue tarps collected from tarps used to cover damaged properties after last summers wind storm. Pennies also were placed on the tarps that lined the sidewalks as they estimated 200,000 pennies were used to cover the two miles. The pennies collected will be donated to selected charities. Additionally, a Motion to Transfer has been filed requesting the Putnam County Juvenile Court transfer jurisdiction of the case to the Putnam County Common Pleas Court so the juvenile can be tried as an adult.
