¡Hora de Cuentos Bilingüe! Bilingual Story Time! at the Putnam County District Library

March 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the Ottawa location and March 30 at 10 a.m. at the Leipsic Edwards-Gamper Memorial location

The Putnam County District Library is offering a bilingual story time! Come, read, play, and have fun. Children’s books will be read in Spanish and English. Bring the whole family, snacks and crafts too.

Family Fun Easter Celebrations at the Putnam County District Library locations

Activities, mini storytime, crafts, and pictures with the Easter Bunny, bring your own camera. Sponsored by the Friends of the Putnam County District Library. All are welcome to attend this free program. Dates and times below:

Plants to Benefit Bees and or Butterflies with Dwight Wilson

April 3, 6 p.m. at the PCDL Ottawa location. Join us for this fascinating presentation with Dwight Wilson. Do you want to know what plants you can plant to benefit bees and butterflies? Transitions with Linda Rae Pollitz, LSW

April 4 2 to 3 p.m. Ottawa Location, Linda is the program manager for Northwest Alzheimer’s Association, she will be presenting a program for individuals with early stage memory loss, along with their families and friends. They are invited to attend this program for social and educational opportunities and group sharing. Persons who are experiencing forgetfulness, mild confusion, or difficulty finding the right words are most likely to benefit. For any questions call the Ottawa Library at 419-523-3747. Registration is requested.

Free Tax Assistance at the Library

Hosted by HHWP CAC and The Ohio Benefit Bank, in collaboration with the Putnam County District Library.

E-file your federal and state taxes for free, with the HHWP Community Action Commission at the Ottawa Library Location.

Book Discussion “Gone Girl” by Gillian Flynn

Cookie Decorating with Helen Doboze at the Putnam County District Library

April 6 at 4 p.m. Leipsic Edwards-Gamper Memorial location or April 10 at 6 p.m. Ottawa location.

Age 9+. Space is limited, register by April 3 at 419-943-2604 Leipsic or 419-523-3747 Ottawa. $3 fee, supplies are provided, bring an apron if you would like and a container to bring your cookie creations home. We will be decorating six cookies each. Sponsored by the Friends of the Putnam County District Library.

Crochet and Knitting at the Putnam County District Library

April 8 at 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Ottawa location. Join us for crochet and knitting fun. Make items for groups in your community. Supplies you will need: Crochet hooks size H, I, or J, 1 color skein of yarn, size 8 or 9 needles for knitting (circular needles are the best). If anyone has yarn they don’t need, please consider bringing it to the PCDL for projects.
