Ashley N. Montgomery, 27, Richmond, Kentucky, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs (heroin). She faces up to 12 months in prison, $2,500 in fines and a six month to five years’ license suspension. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted. Sentencing was scheduled for Feb. 23 at 3:45 p.m.

Montgomery was a passenger in a car that was pulled over on a traffic stop Nov. 24. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office reported a 2010 Toyota Camry was pulled over at the intersection of Ohio 15 and Road 19 in Monroe Township and Montgomery was found with cocaine, heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The Putnam County K-9 unit was dispatched, and the dog was alerted to a narcotic odor emanating from the vehicle, the sheriff’s office reported.

Jan. 24

Kevin L. Brennan, 49, Hastings, Minnesota, pleaded guilty to attempt possession of drugs. He faces up to six months in jail and $1,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted. Sentencing was scheduled for Feb. 21 at 9:30 a.m. He was originally charged with possession of drugs (cocaine), possession of drugs (marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Seth R. Brennan, 24, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to attempt possession of drugs. He faces up to six months in jail and $1,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted. Sentencing was scheduled for Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. He was originally charged with possession of drugs (cocaine), possession of drugs (adderall), possession of drugs (marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Michelle M. Oler, 30, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property. She faces up to six months in jail and $1,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted. Sentencing was scheduled for Feb. 23 at 2 p.m.

Jonathon E. Maxwell, 30, Defiance, pleaded guilty to failure to register as a sex offender. He faces up to 18 months in prison and $5,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted. Sentencing was scheduled for Feb. 23 at 2:30 p.m.

Trenton M. Holloway, 26, Lima, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs (crack cocaine). He faces up to 18 months in prison. $5,000 in fines and six months to five years’ license suspension. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted. Sentencing was scheduled for Feb. 23 at 3 p.m. Another count of possession was dismissed.

Tracey D. Smith, 37, Oakwood, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs (heroin) and possession of drugs (fentanyl). She faces up to 24 months in prison, $5,000 in fines, and 12 months to 10 years’ license suspension. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted. Sentencing was scheduled for Feb. 27 at 1 p.m.

The First National Bank of Pandora, was granted judgment against David C. Cramer, Marblehead, in the amount of $15,522.94, plus interest of $9,974.89, plus court costs $158.50, plus interest and costs.

Harry D. Berger, Continental, and Susan J. Berger, Continental, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married April 22, 1996 in Ottawa, and have no children.

Laura M. Schumacher, Columbus Grove, and Anthony L. Schumacher, Columbus Grove, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Aug. 20, 2005 in Columbus Grove, and have two children.

Jan. 25

Daniel L. Bixler, 55, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to domestic violence with prior. He faces up to 18 months in prison and $5,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted. Sentencing was scheduled for Feb. 27 at 2:30 p.m. A charge of assault was dismissed.

Jan. 26

Jayden E. Bess, 21, Ottawa, was sentenced to nine months in prison for violating the terms of supervision. The violations included changing residence without permission from his supervising officer and failing to pay restitution as Feb. 2. He was given credit for 262 days served.
