Gary L. Badertscher, 53, Gilboa, pleaded guilty to three counts endangering children, disseminating materials harmful to juveniles, pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor, and illegal use of minor in nudity-oriented material. Bond was revoked while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 11 a.m. Aug. 5. He was originally charged with four counts endangering children, compulsion to involuntary servitude, two counts disseminating materials harmful to juveniles, six counts pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor, and 54 counts illegal use of minor in nudity-oriented material or performance.

Suzanne M. Gerding, 32, Ottoville, was sentenced to 30 days jail for theft. She was placed on three years community control and given credit for one day served. She must complete 100 hours community service, pay $330 restitution, undergo drug and alcohol use counseling as directed and maintain employment.

July 7

Tyler J. Cross, 21, Fort Jennings, was granted judicial release. He was placed on three years community control, must maintain employment, have no contact with the victim and undergo counseling. He was originally convicted of endangering children.

July 8

Abbie L. Holton, 25, Cloverdale, was sentenced to complete the WORTH Center program for theft of checks. She was placed on three years community control and given credit for 51 days served. She must obtain a GED and employment and pay restitution of $1,260.15.

Gregory A. Barnett, 40, Bradner, was sentenced to 10 days jail for failure to pay child support with eight days suspended. He was in arrears in the amount of $6,937.83 as of May 31, 2014.

Tisha Morman, Ottawa, was granted a divorce from Eric Morman, Leipsic. They were married May 12, 2007, and have no children.

July 9

Timothy W. Good, 53, Continental, was sentenced to life in prison without parole for rape (victim being less than 10 years of age) and gross sexual imposition after being found guilty by a jury. He was given a mandatory sentence of 60 months for count two with the sentence to be served concurrent. He was given credit for 145 days served.

Gregory Newhouse, 31, Lima, pleaded guilty to felony non support. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 10 a.m. Aug. 4.
