Ruben E. Romero, 36, Montpelier, was sentenced to 100 days in jail for tampering with evidence. He was given credit for 73 days served and was placed on three years community control. He must obtain employment, undergo counseling, obtain a valid operator’s license and not possess any firearms. He must comply with all deportation rules. A charge of possession of drugs was dismissed.

June 27

Christine D. Roe, Fort Jennings, and John R. Roe, Bluffton, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married May 6, 1988 in Bluffton, and have no minor children.

Nicholas Reinhart, Cloverdale, was granted a divorce from Angela Reinhart, Findlay. They were married Dec. 30, 2005, and have two children.

June 28

Brian L. Pollock, 51, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to forgery (uttering). He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 8:30 a.m. Aug. 30. A charge of receiving stolen property was dismissed.

June 29

Jacquelyn N. Hiegel, 35, Pandora, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs (heroin). She faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9 a.m. July 27.

Julie M. Knott, Ottawa, was granted a divorce from Jason G. Knott, Ottawa. They were married May 26, 2001 in Glandorf, and have two children.

Douglas N. Schnipke, 52, Ottawa, admitted to contempt. He shall pay the remaining amount of the outstanding obligation of $795 within 45 days for the contempt to be purged.

June 30

Scott J. Wilson, 56, Ottawa, was sentenced to 90 days jail for failure to register (arson), and having weapons under disability. He was placed on five years community control and given credit for one day served. He must obtain a drug and alcohol use assessment, have only one medical provider and one pharmacy and forfeit his firearm. Another count of failure to register was dismissed.
