The following individuals were indicted by the Putnam County Grand Jury on March 16.
D. Cress, 19, Columbus Grove; four counts unlawful sexual conduct with a
minor and illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material or
Danny L. Ruiz, 42, Leipsic; burglary and criminal damaging.
W. Mobley, 46, Hicksville; aggravated possession of drugs
(methamphetamines), possession of marijuana and failure to display
Donna M. Roethlisberger, 62, Columbus Grove; two
counts tampering with records, two counts identity fraud and failure to
comply with the law.
Cheryl A. Lewis-Elliott, 46, Cloverdale; theft of a debit card and theft from an elderly person.
E. Collins, 45, Cloverdale; possession of drugs (crack/cocaine),
possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle without a
valid license and turn and stop signals.
Chad M. German, 40, Delphos; breaking and entering and theft.
Nicole L. Stewart, 36, Defiance; failure to appear and perjury.
Nina J. Brown, 19, Ottawa; possession of drugs (LSD).
L. Bixler, 55, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to domestic violence/with prior.
He faces up to 18 months in prison and $5,000 in fines. Bond was revoked
pending a pre-sentence investigation.
Jorge Roman Sr., 39, Grand
Rapids, was found in arrears in paying child support in the amount of
$8,283.77, as of Jan. 31, 2017. Sentencing in the matter was continued
for 30 days.
Brandon J. Moore, 25,
Oakwood, was sentenced to three days’ jail for violating the terms of
supervision. The violation includes consuming alcohol on Nov. 25, 2016.
His license was suspended for six months and he is to continue treatment
at Westwood Behavioral Center. He was placed on three years’ community
control. He was originally convicted of possession of drugs
Shelva D. Ranes, Ottawa, was granted a divorce
from Thomas C. Ranes, Findlay. They were married Sept. 9, 2009 in
Putnam County, and have no children.

Kathryn Ditmire, Vaughnsville, v. Serenity Puffinberger, executrix of estate of James D. Rippetoe, Mark Center; other civil.
