Putnam County Common Pleas Court: Week of August 8, 2012

Tammy Duncan, 46, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to one count of endangering children. Sentenced to 180 days in Putnam County Jail with credit for four days previously served as date of this hearing. Defendant shall pay court costs of this action. Defendant remanded to custody of Putnam County Jail for execution of sentence.Eric M. Walters, 26, Fort Jennings, pleaded guilty to domestic violence (second offense). Sentenced to 18 months at ODRC with credit for 114 days. Defendant may be subject to a discretionary period of post release control for three years under terms and conditions as determined by adult parole authority. Any violation of terms of post release control may lead to a more discretionary sentence for defendant of an additional prison term of nine months. Defendant to pay court costs of this action. Court further advised defendant that he shall be subject to certain appeal rights under criminal rule 32. Defendant be remanded to custody of Putnam County Jail for execution of sentence.
Thomas C. Ranes, 51, Ottawa, motion for judicial release is overruled.

Robert W. Bobbitt, 34, Spencerville, motion for judicial release is overruled.
Thomas A. Bishop, 30, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of drugs; and one count of burglary. Sentenced to three years community control under general supervision and control of the adult parole authority under any terms and conditions that they deem appropriate. Court further imposes the following conditions and sanctions of defendant's community control: successfully complete Worth Center program; undergo drug and alcohol treatment and assessment as directed by his supervising officer and follow all recommendations resulting from said assessments and/or treatments; obtain employment; driver's license is suspended for six months; defendant shall pay court costs of this action. Violation of any term of this sentence shall lead to a more restrictive sentence for defendant of 12 months on count II and 36 months on count III at ODRC. Defendant shall be remanded to Putnam County Jail pending placement into Worth Center program.
