Nicholas A. Croy, 21, Defiance, pleaded no contest to charge of domestic violence, found guilty, fined $200 and 180 days jail with 179 days jail suspended on condition he has no similar offense in two years, probation for one year or until further court order, complete an assessment at Pathways counseling center for anger management or equivalent counseling provider and abide by their recommendations. Defendant is given credit for one day jail previously served.
Todd A. Basinger, 35, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of menacing. Found guilty, fined $150 and 30 days jail with 28 days jail suspended on condition he has no similar offense in two years, probation for six months or until further court order, complete an assessment at Pathways or equivalent provider and abide by recommendations. Victim is a family -household member. Defendant is given credit for two days served. Temporary protection order and own recognizance bond conditions are hereby terminated.
Jacob Rader, 19, Leipsic, pleaded no contest to underage possession on March 29, 2012 having failed to complete the diversion program, defendant appeared on Nov. 29, 2012, found guilty to the offense. Defendant fined $250 plus court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with $100 of fine and 180 days in jail suspended on the following condition: no similar offense while underage, attend alcohol/substance education classes at Pathways Counseling Center and pay costs therefore, 30 hours of community service and pay the administrative fee, to be completed within 90 days and attend VIP program.
