Sarah J. Boggs, 71, Ottawa, was traveling south on St. Rt. 109 along with Michael J. Gerschutz, 30 of Leipsic, and Billy D. Bennett, 66 of McComb, when McComb went to pass Gerschutz. When Boggs went to change lanes to pass McComb, she made impact with his trailer. McComb then collided with Gerschutz when trying to get back into the correct lane, as he swiped the back left of his trailer with the front left of Gerschutz's truck.Oct. 11
Ross D Carnahan, 19 of Continental, was westbound on Rd. D when a deer ran onto the roadway. Carnahan struck the deer. No injuries were reported.
Jeffery D. Cataline, 59 of Pandora, stated he was traveling west on St. Rt. 12 when a deer ran from the edge of the road, striking the front driver's side corner of his vehicle.
Linda B. Herrman, 56 of Ft. Meyers was traveling north on St. Rt. 696 when she struck a deer coming from the East. No injuries were reported.
Jade T. Jennings, 20 of Lima, was traveling east on St. Rt. 224 when she lost control of her vehicle at residence 15188 St. Rt. 224. She traveled off the east side of the road correcting and coming back onto the roadway. Jennings then over corrected again sending her vehicle back off the east side of the road striking a power pole ejecting the driver. The driver was taken to St. Rita's Medical Center.
Michael L. Kohls, 46 of Columbus Grove, was traveling north on St. Rt. 65 when a deer ran out in front of him. Kohl struck the deer.
Lisa M. Gerdeman, 44 of Ottawa, was traveling south on Rd. 15 when a deer crossed her path from the East. Gerdeman struck the deer.
Lawrence D. Foreman, 65 of Ottawa, was northbound on Rd. 15 when a deer was hit by another car and then his own.
Sean M. Watkins, 20 of Lima, was traveling east on St. Rt. 15 and failed to negotiate a curve. Watkins drove off the right side of the road and struck a guard rail.
Domestic Violence was reported in Leipsic.
A corn stubble field fire was reported at 12493 Rd. R-11 in Pleasant Twp. No injuries were reported.
A house fire was reported on 3264 Rd. 5 in Van Buren Twp. Van Buren was the first to respond. The Red Cross was notified for assistance with the residents and Miller City was called for backup. A train on CSX railroad was also reported moving slowly and blocking off water supply.
