On June 13, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office investigated an accident at the intersection of Road I-17 and Road 21 in Perry Township. A vehicle driven by Sandra J. Hoffman, 67, of Cloverdale was traveling northbound on Road 21 attempting to turn onto Road I-17 when she failed to yield at the stop sign and struck a tractor trailer driven by Kaleb M. Walters, 23, of Defiance.
On June 15, a vehicle driven by Shaday E. Kirkman, 27, Lima, was traveling southbound on St. Rt. 115 in Sugar Creek Township when she went off the roadway on the right side shoulder of the road, then lost control and over corrected and went off the left side of the shoulder and rolled landing upside down. The driver was taken to St. Rita's Hospital.
On June 16, Larry E. Butler, 62, Leipsic, was driving westbound on Road D in Van Buren Township, when he struck a deer that ran into his path.
A theft was reported on June 11 by a US Rt. 224, Ottawa Township resident.
A burglary was reported on June 11 by a N. Broad St., Kalida resident.
Harassment was reported on June 12 by a Road J-3, Pandora resident.
Trespassing was reported on June 12 by a Road 5-H, Blanchard Township resident.
A stolen vehicle was reported on June 13 by a Truax Road, Cloverdale resident.
Harassment was reported on June 13 by a Road 24, Monroe Township resident.
A dog complaint was reported on June 14 by a St. Rt. 12, Pleasant Township resident.
A theft was reported on June 16 by a W. Findlay St., Vaughnsville resident.
A scam was reported on June 17 by a Road 18-E, Palmer Township resident.
