GILBOA — Gary Badertscher, Gilboa, pled guilty Thursday, July 3, in Putnam County Common Pleas Court to several felony counts of sex crimes involving minors.

Badertscher, 53 pled guilty to six felonies including three counts of endangering children, a second degree felony, one county of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles and one county of pandering sexually matter involving juveniles, both four degree felonies, and illegal use of a minor in nudity material, a fifth degree felony.

If all sentences were ordered consecutively Badertscher could be sentenced to a maximum term of 28 years in prison. Badertscher will be required to register as a tier II sex offender.

His sentencing will occur 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 5.
