MILLER CITY — Miller City- New Cleveland Middle School participated in the District 6 Science Fair at Ohio Northern University on March 22. MC-NC received the award for the Highest Number of Superior Projects. Students earning that distinction included: Jeremy DeMuth (perfect score of 40), Makenna Lehman, Emily Niese, Emma Recker, Abigail Schroeder, Dominic Schroeder, Madison Schroeder, and Daniel Siebeneck. The following special awards were earned as well: B-wiser Award: Abbey Schroeder, Madison Schroeder Water Environmental Science Award: Jeremy DeMuth Tri-Moraine Audubon Society Award: Jeremy DeMuth, Dominic Schroeder Governor’s Award for Advanced or Alternative Energy Research: Abigail Schroeder Governor’s Award in Advanced Materials Science Research: Madison Schroeder Governor’s Award for Environmental Science Research: Dominic Schroeder District Environmental Award: Jeremy DeMuth

Four students will be going on to State Science Day from MC-NC: Jeremy DeMuth, Makenna Lehman, Abigail Schroeder, and Dominic Schroeder. Three alternates were named: Emily Niese, Madison Schroeder, and Emma Recker.
