AYERSVILLE — Nineteen Ottawa-Glandorf swimmers and divers advanced to district action this week from the sectional at Ayersville High School.
The district meet gets underway Wednesday at Oak Harbor with dividing, while the swimming portion of the meet will be held Friday at Cleveland State University. The girls district diving meet starts at 9 a.m. with the boys scheduled for 2:30 p.m. The district swim meet starts at 5 p.m. on Friday.
O-G divers that advanced to the district meet are Harris Reinstedler, Luke Schaub, Trent Basinger, Megan Kosch and Nicole Teffenhardt.
Male swimmers that advanced to the district meet are Luke Kleman, Ben Sealts, Alex Pracht, Nick Fenbert and Alex Teffenhardt. Female swimmers that advanced from the sectionals were Kindra Theisen, Kathyrn Samuelson, Breana Fenbert, Monica Maas, Michaela Nordhaus, Megan Hoehn, Amber Ellerbrock, Alexa Schroeder and Ashley Siefker.
The Lady Titans had a solid day at the sectional meet winning the Division II team title. O-G scored 505.5 points for the championship as Celina was second with 371 points.
The O-G boys finished third with 350.5 points. Celina won the sectional title with 484 points and Van Wert was second with 369 points.
