PANDORA — Every two years the Riley Creek Singers, local talent from
Putnam, Allen and Hancock counties, present a popular musical at the
Pandora-Gilboa School. This year marks their tenth musical. The Rogers
& Hammerstein musical, “South Pacific” will be held at the school
auditeria on Aug. 8, 9 and 10.
This year, male singers were needed
to portray WWII Army, Navy and Marine characters. This musical offers
comedy, drama and two love stories.
In addition an orchestra
filled with talented musicians will provide music during the musical.
The vocal and orchestra director is Jim Oberhaus.
Augsburger, director, and Valerie Nusbaum, assistant director, are the
driving force that keep the musical fresh and entertaining each year.

nurses, a pharmacist, baker, farmers, tire store manager, former flight
attendant, bar and grill owner, factory workers etc. Every two years the

Aug. 9, and Sunday, Aug. 10. It will be at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday
