OTTOVILLE — The Ottoville High School Music Department presents the musical comedy “Haphazardly Ever After” on Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14. Curtain is 7:30 p.m. each evening, and tickets are $6 for general seating. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the high school office during school hours, and will also be available at the door.

”Haphazardly Ever After” follows the attempts of King Barnabas (Brendon Stoner) and Queen Mildred (Brittany Schleeter) to marry off their four unpleasant, bickering children. Princess Cinnamon (Makayla Miller), Princess Peppermint (Karie Ladd), Prince Hairgel (Caden Edelbrock), and Prince Slacker (Ben Horstman) are an unruly lot more interested in mayhem than marriage.

All conventional methods of reigning in the children meet with failure. After reading several fairy tales, the king and queen purchase magic potions from discount outlet Enchanted Depot, with disastrously hilarious results. The narrator (Kara Landin) keeps the story moving as smoothly as possible, and that isn’t always easy!

The talented ensemble also includes Madison Averesch, Halle Landin, Katlyn Kelch, Megan Schnipke, McKenna Byrne, Kasey Knippen, Carson Stoner, Elijah Knodell, Abi Hilvers, Tyler Birr, Kylee Hoersten, Quinley Schlagbaum, Julia Langhals, Haley Hoersten, Paige Hoersten, Brooke Kortokrax, Ashley Herman, Kambrie Edelbrock, Anthony Schnipke, Allie Honigford, Beth Moorman and Emily Moorman.
