Columbus Grove band brings home a superior from state

COLUMBUS GROVE - The Columbus Grove High School Bulldog Marching Band was honored to be 1 of 12 Class C Bands that qualified to participate in the OMEA State Marching Band Finals this year.This past Sunday their day started out with a buffet meal enjoyed by the band and many family and friends at The Old Barn Out Back.

They then traveled to the Dayton Welcome Stadium and prepared for their 4:45 performance. The CG Band took to the field and put their "Hollywood" show on the field one last time for the judges. Awards were then presented at 6 p.m.
The following announcement concluded their evening: Columbus Grove Bulldog Marching Band your overall rating is 1...Superior! Congratulations CG Band! What a wonderful accomplishment! This marks the first time in school history that the CG Band has earned a State Finals Superior 3 years in a row. The band was welcomed home for a town square celebration Sunday evening.
The CG Band thanks the community for all of their support throughout this competition season. Thanks CG Band for once again filling our Eyes With Pride!
