COLUMBUS GROVE - The Columbus Grove Bulldog Marching Band traveled to New Bremen for their OMEA Band Competition on Saturday. There were 16 bands from around the state at this event. The Bulldog band performed at 8:00 pm presenting their 2012 show entitled "Little Shop of Horrors".

They were presented with the following awards at the end of the evening: Best Percussion Class C, Best Auxiliary Class C, 2nd Place Band Class C, Best Overall Auxiliary in all Classes, and an overall rating of 1 - Superior.

The band's final day of competition will be a double header on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Versailles and Tecumseh. They will perform at 1:45 at Versailles and then at 5:00 pm at Tecumseh that day.

The CG Band will then be traveling to the OMEA Marching Band State Finals on Saturday, Oct 28, at the Dayton Welcome Stadium. Their performance is tentatively scheduled for 4:15 pm and they are hoping that many supporters from the community will come to cheer them on.
