NEW CLEVELAND - Mildred R. Inkrott, age 93, died at 11:35 p.m,. Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at The Meadows of Kalida.
She was born Feb. 16, 1916, in Kalida, the daughter of the late August and Eleanora (Westbeld) Verhoff. On June 2, 1937, she married William F. Inkrott, and he preceded her in death on April 14, 1982.
Surviving are four sons, Thomas (Mary Ann) Inkrott of New Cleveland, Jerry (Marlene) Inkrott of Leipsic, Norman (Wilma) Inkrott of New Cleveland, and Donald (Elaine) Inkrott of Glandorf; three daughters, Ann (Norman) Liebrecht of Cuba, Ohio, Marilyn (George) Ellerbrock of Columbus Grove, and Ruth (Dale ) Gerding of Glandorf; 31 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; a brother, Wilbur (Patricia) Verhoff of Bowling Green; and three sisters, Alice Croy of Perrysburg, and Dorothy (Norman) Vonderembse and Martha Berheide, both of Kalida.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Inkrott; a great-granddaughter, Alexis Inkrott; three brothers, Oscar Verhoff, Norbert Verhoff and Paul Verhoff; and a sister, Florence Schumacher.
Mrs. Inkrott was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, New Cleveland, and its Altar Rosary Society and Catholic Ladies of Columbia.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, June 27, at Holy Family Catholic Church, New Cleveland. Fr. Norbert Howe officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Love Funeral Home, Ottawa.
