COLUMBUS GROVE, - Union Bank, headquartered in Columbus Grove has announced the hiring of Bart Mills as Marketing Officer.
Mills, has over 20 years of marketing and media experience across many disciplines including advertising, public relations, branding, communications and sponsorships. In addition to an extensive career in local newspaper, radio and television, he has served locally as director and owner of Mills Marketing and Communications and as Executive Director for the Council of the Arts of Greater Lima and is widely known for his weekly column published in The Lima News.
"Bart will be a great addition to the Union Bank family and will lead in the on-going enhancement of our brand and marketing strategies," commented Curtis Shepherd, Senior Vice President. "Not only does Bart have a tremendous amount of experience, he is hard working and is very familiar with all of our markets from his time in Bowling Green to his previous work in Hancock,Putnam and Allen Counties."
Mills serves on a variety for local boards and committees, including the Lima Blues Committee and the Marketing Committee for Downtown Lima Inc. He earned his Bachelor and Master degree from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Science in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He currently resides in Lima with his wife Jennifer and two daughters.
