GILBOA — The Gilboa bull is back to its original splendor.

Jenny Hopps, Miller City, and her brother Rodney Hovest, Leipsic, have repainted the bull.

The repainting was necessary after an individual or individuals vandalized the bull with graffiti on Saturday night or early Sunday morning.

This is not the first time they have had to repaint the bull.

“They had paint leftover from the last time they had to paint the bull,” their mother Ruth Hovest said.

Gilboa Mayor Dick McCullough said the sheriff's department continues to investigate the vandalization and is hopeful they will catch the culprits.
