OTTAWA - The Ottawa-Glandorf Junior Class invites the public to attend its first annual "Prom Resale and Vendor Showcase Fundraiser." This public event will be held on Sunday, Feb. 3, from noon to 5 p.m. at Robert J. Hermiller Gymnasium.

Girls in the Putnam County area will be able to bring in their gently used prom dresses, purses and shoes to resell. Girls looking for good deals will be able to come in and shop around.
Local businesses are invited to set up - hair, nails, tanning salons, make-up, jewelry, accessories, and tux rental places. This way students can see what services are available in this area and book appointments. Vendors will be donating one item worth $20 to be raffled off at the end of the event. You do not need to be present to win. Raffle tickers will be available for $1 each - there will be no admission fee.
To reserve a vending space, please contact Deb Kuhlman at the high school at 419-523-5702 or email Tables will be provided and Internet is available.
Anyone wishing to sell their prom or homecoming dress, shoes or jewelry should drop them off at the high school from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1 or from 9 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 3. The cost to put a gently used dress on the sale is $7 for one dress, $10 for two dresses, or $12 for three dresses. Shoes, jewelry and purses will have a $1 charge. All dresses have to be clean and less then seven years old. Dress owners are to set their own prices for gowns. Donated dresses will also be accepted. All proceeds will be used for the 2013 Ottawa-Glandorf Prom.
