Putnam Co. Sheriff's Office report fraudulent Council on Aging agents

OTTAWA - The Putnam County Sheriff's Office has received multiple complaints of three females going door to door claiming they are from the Council on Aging.
According to a press release from Sheriff Michael Chandler, as many as three younger, well dressed, white females are going door to door claiming they with the Council of Aging and that "they are there to assist in anyway possible." The females are not showing any form of identification or giving out any literature.
The subjects are driving a white SUV, year and make unknown.
The Sheriff's office is asking residents to not let anyone enter their household that match he description who portray themselves as representatives of the Council of Aging, or any other organization, but rather contact the Sheriff's Office or your local law enforcement right away.
