The Blanchard River Art Guild (BRAG) held their annual arts festival, now known as Festival in the Flats Saturday, May 11 on Walnut Street in Ottawa.
The main focus of the festival was a fine arts exhibit. Artwork from local artists were on display for viewing and purchasing throughout the festivities.

Also on hand was a KidZone with numerous activities for children. Included in the KidZone was a rare opportunity to paint a car. Children were encouraged to paint special designs on the vehicle. Other KidZone activities included a sidewalk chalk art contest, clay sculpting, paper hat making, and mosaics.
