Donald E. Schulte, 18, 611 Cierra Way, Defiance, was sentenced to 180 days jail for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a misdemeanor. He was given credit for 95 days served. He was originally charged with rape and corruption of a minor, both felonies.
Robert M. Montgomery, 49, 1398 County Road 1, Deshler, pleaded guilty to illegal assembly drugs. He faces up to 36 months in prison, $10,000 in fines and six months to five years license suspension. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9 a.m. Oct. 3.
Mark E. Christian, 29, 222 Riverview Drive, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to failure to comply with order of peace officer. He faces up to 36 months in prison, $10,000 in fines, and three years to life driver's license suspension. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 10 a.m. Sept. 30. A charge of theft was dismissed.
Justin W. Kahl, 21, 9907 State Route 65, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to failure to comply with order police. He faces up to 36 months in prison. $10,000 in fines, and three years to life driver's license suspension. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 10:30 a.m. Oct. 1.

Raymond Moats Jr., Box 115, Alvordton, was found in contempt for failing to pay child support. He was found in arrears in the amount of $7,787.90 as of July 31. Sentencing was continued for 90 days.
Richard L. Geckle Jr., Leipsic, and Sonya M. Geckle, Paulding, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married July 2, 2005 in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., and have no children.

John L. McKinsey, 50, 221 W. Jackson St., Apt. B, Paulding, was sentenced to 12 months in prison for trafficking in drugs and 12 months in prison for permitting drug abuse. The sentence was ordered to be served concurrently and he was given credit for 31 days served. His driver's license was suspended for five years.
Gerald J. Okuley Jr., 41, 12508 Road G, Ottawa, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for domestic violence. He was given credit for 178 days served. Charges of kidnapping, felonious assault and attempt were dismissed.
Chadd M. Sigler, 33, 631 W. Sycamore St., Apt. B11, Columbus Grove, was found in contempt for failing to pay child support. He was found to be in arrears in the amount of $12,233.65 as of July 31, 2013. Sentencing was continued for 90 days.
Judith A. Balbaugh, Ottawa, was granted a divorce from Jared Balbaugh, Napoleon. They were married April 30, 2005 and have one child.
