PUTNAM COUNTY - The Putnam County Dog Shelter will be hosting a Vaccination Clinic and Adopt-A-Thon on Saturday, Oct. 20, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Putnam County Fairgrounds, 1490 E. Second St., Ottawa. For only $35, your dog will be up to date on Rabies Vaccine, Bordetella (Kennel Cough) Vaccine, DHLPP (Distemper and Parvo) Vaccine and includes a vet exam. Puppy vaccines and Heart Worm tests will also be available for a small cost.
There will be rescue groups from Northwest Ohio that will have dogs available for adoption. Dogs from big to small will be up for adoption and looking for a wonderful new home. This is a great opportunity to see various dog breeds that make great family pets.
Vaccinations are important to keep your dog healthy as well as yourself. This is a wonderful event to promote healthy dogs and even find a new best friend. There will be an aluminum can drive during the event. So, bring your dogs, family, aluminum cans and kindness to help the homeless and unwanted dogs of Northwest Ohio. There will also be raffle items for a chance to win. All proceeds from this event will help dogs in need with the care and love they so much deserve so they can find their new "furever" home sooner. Thanks for your support.
Please spay and neuter your dog to help control the over population and crowding in dog shelters and rescue groups. Adopt today.
