The winter storm that hit Putnam County late Tuesday night, bringing with it ice and snow, had residents cleaning driveways, sidewalks and parking lots Wednesday morning.
A employee of the Ottawa-Glandorf School district cleans the parking lot at the Glandorf Elementary School.
Although snow plows have been out since late Tuesday night, the county remains under a Level 1 roadway advisory because of patches of snow and ice still on the roads. WIth the snow, ice and wind Tuesday night all nine schools districts in the county called off classes for the day.
The good news is that temperatures are supposed to climb in the 40's starting Friday and possibly reach 50 degrees by Sunday that will help melt the snow and get everyone one day closer to spring.
