Putnam bikers needed for Komen Findlay Race for the Cure®

Susan G Komen Northwest Ohio Affiliate has appointed Jolene Mintey and Amy Row to serve as co-captains for the inaugural Susan G. Komen Findlay, Ohio Race for the Cure to be held Saturday, Sept. 28. The event is in support of all the breast cancer survivors in the Findlay and surrounding areas, including Putnam County.
All motorcycle riders are needed to transport survivors on Sept. 28, 2013 to the Marathon parking lot in downtown Findlay. You can pre-register to sign the biker waiver by going to www.komennwohio.org and click on Race for the Cure, volunteer and go to biker registration Findlay, Ohio or contact Jolene Mintey at 419-306-2577 or on Facebook.
Participants are asked to be at the Marathon parking lot at 7:00 am, lined up by 8:15 for the race start at 8:30. After survivors arrive, participants will line the streets and cheer on the runners by revving motors. All are asked to please wear pink or a save the rack shirt in support of breast cancer.
