Sts. Peter and Paul Parish serves oodles of noodles for missions

OTTAWA - Sts. Peter and Paul Parish in Ottawa held its annual Fall Festival on Sunday, Nov. 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. By 2 p.m., 650 tickets were sold for family-style dining in the school cafeteria on Locust Street, with 1,600 more carryout dinners purchased. All told, approximately 2,500 chicken and roast beef dinners were sold to benefit missions.

"That's a lot of noodles," commented one volunteer.
Funds were also raised through a county store with crafts, baked goods, holiday items, games and raffles.
