CONTINENTAL - Three fire departments were called to battle a structure fire Saturday afternoon in Continental.

In a report released by Continental Fire Chief Steve Elkins, they received a report of a structure fire at 100 N. Fourth St. in Continental at 5:22 p.m. When they arrived they found heavy smoke and fire coming from the rear of the structure.
After a preliminary investigation, it was determined that a problem with the main breaker box was the source of the fire.
Fire Departments from Kalida and Oakwood assisted Continental at the scene as well as the Continental EMS. No injuries were reported.
