GLANDORF - Ten miles south of Cincinnati, in Villa Hills, Kent., Daniel Turnwald began his journey as a small business owner.
Turnwald has served as an insurance agent since 2004. From 2004 to 2006, he served as a regional field agent, assisting Catholic families. The Turnwald Agency finished 2009 with the lowest lapse rate in all of North America, indicating clients' high satisfaction. In 2012, he returned to Ohio as a field agent to help families locally. Growing up on a farm in Ohio and with his father being a Knight, Turnwald has been a member since 1999, serving as Deputy Grand Knight for his council. Prior to becoming an agent, Turnwald earned his B.S. Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University, and spent 10 years in engineering, technical sales, and running a small business.
" We decided on Glandorf since it has a great faith community, great school, and central to the county for my business. Being a Schroeder and Niese on my mother's side, there are also many relatives and friends here," said Turnwald. "We offer Life Planning, focusing on a comprehensive plan tailored for each family. We focus on the conservative, safe, foundational piece of a family's financial structure by offering safe retirement savings plans including Roth IRA's, life insurance, long-term care insurance, disability income insurance," said Turnwald.
Turnwald thinks it is absolutely essential to play a positive roll in your community in having a successful small business.
"It's simply the right thing to do. I love the way people work together around here to build a nice community. After being away for nearly 15 years, and traveling the entire state of Kentucky, Putnam County is a pretty special place. The beauty is in the people and the way they are willing to work hard together and have fun."
