OTTOVILLE — Although storms were predicted and the wind was high, there was no rain Saturday for the 2 p.m. opening of the Ottoville Park Carnival. Diners lunched under the big tent, children played ring toss, built with giant Legos and 'fished' for prizes.

High school and junior royalty were crowned to reign over Saturday and Sunday events, including Sunday's parade. Junior King and Queen were Carson Kuhlman and Isabelle Marino. Together the junior royalty candidates raised $5,590 by selling tickets to Saturday's carnival dinner.

King Rudy Wenzlick, a junior at Ottoville High School, and Queen Megan Lambert, a senior, were crowned immediately after. See Wednesday's Sentinel for more photos and details.
