COLUMBUS GROVE — Wonderful and great were the words used by Vietnam veterans Sunday evening during a meal given in their honor.

Held at the Columbus Grove VFW the meal was hosted by veterans from Dessert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan wars. This was the second year the “welcome home celebration” was hosted for the Vietnam veterans.

“It means a lot to all of us,” said Paul Vaughn a Vietnam veterans who was in the 1st Infantry Army. “Back then even some veterans from prior wars looked down on us. That hurt.”
