VAUGHNSVILLE - Willis "Will" D. Tudor, 85, of Vaughnsville, died at 10:50 a.m. Oct. 11, 2013, at Richland Manor, Beaverdam.

He was born Oct. 3, 1928, in Lima to Homer and Lodean Weyer Tudor, who preceded him in death. In 1950, he married Josephine R. Emick, who survives.

Mr. Tudor was a 1946 graduate of Vaughnsville High School. He was a lifelong farmer and had retired from Tudor Insurance Agency, Vaughnsville. He served on the Vaughnsville School Board and the Board of the Vaughnsville Telephone Co. He was a member of the former Vaughnsville E.U.B. Church and a member of the Vaughnsville Community Methodist Church. He had been a member of the former Knights of Pythias, he was a member of the Kalida Fish and Game Club and a life member of the Lima BPOE #54. Will was a Cincinnati Reds fan, an avid golfer and he enjoyed bowling and fishing. Most of all, he was the biggest fan of all of his family, especially enjoying the sports and school events of his grandchildren.

Survivors also include a son, Michael D. Tudor, of Vaughnsville; two daughters, Pamela J. (Tom) Jerwers, of Kalida, and Cynthia K. (Gary) Schnipke, of Cloverdale; two sisters, Rhea (Jerry) Yares, of Tennessee, and Nora Weaver, of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Travis (Dawn) Jerwers, Heather (Karl) Utrup, Ryan Jerwers, Garicyn Schnipke, and Madicyn Schnipke; and four great-grandchildren, Trent Utrup, Kollin Utrup, Brynn Utrup and Emma Jerwers.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Leah Lou Tudor.

Services will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Tom Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Pike Run Cemetery, Gomer.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 Sunday at the funeral home.
