PUTANM COUNTY - The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Putnam County until 7 a.m. Wednesday.

The weather service says the intensity of snowfall will pick up over night and into the early morning hours before diminishing. SNowfall could be anywhere between five and seven inches.
Due to the snow and a brief period of sleet before it, the Putnam County Sheriff's office has issued a Level 1 roadway advisory.
Due to the snow and ice, schools in the county are already issuing delays for the morning for two hours. There also have been a few reports of cars sliding off roads due to the snow and ice. No major accidents have been reported at this time.
