COLUMBUS GROVE - Delia Palte, 79, of Columbus Grove died at 11:52 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born April 29, 1933 in Kildare County, Ireland to the late John and Margaret (Massey) Rush. On May 28, 1960, she married Richard S. Palte who survives in Columbus Grove.

Also surviving are three children, Bob (Janet) Palte of Westfield Center, Bernadette (Jeff) Moratt of Hilliard, and Frances (Doug) Spencer of Waynesfield; eight grandchildren; and three sisters, Monica Finn of Lima, Marie Delaney of Dublin, Ireland, and Sister Gracie Rush of Sisters of Mercy, Cairns, Australia.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Thomas Palte; two brothers, John and Jim Rush; and a sister, Sara Barlage.
Delia was a retired secretary for St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Columbus Grove. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary, and Columbus Grove American Legion Auxiliary.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Columbus Grove with Fr. Tom Extejt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa where a Parish Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Foundation or St. Anthony's School Endowment Fund.
