Edna Frances Salsburey

LIMA - Edna Frances Salsburey, 92, died at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2013, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
Edna was born on June 27, 1920, on the family farm near Leipsic, to Fred Drerup and Francis [Kreinbrink] Drerup. On June 20, 1940, in Ottawa, she married Leo Salsburey . He preceded her in death in December of 1985.
She was a member of St Rose Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and traveling.
She is survived by a sister Esther Knott, of Cridersville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: a son, Clyde Salsburey, who died in 1963; sisters, Lucille Ringlein, Edna Marie Drerup, Ruth Drerup, and Florence Weis; and her brothers, Carl Drerup, Richard Drerup, Leo Drerup, and Arthur Drerup.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday, May 10, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 10, at St. Rose Catholic Church, Lima, with Rev. David M. Ross officiating. Interment will be in St Peter and Paul Cemetery in Ottawa.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions can be made to St. Rose Catholic Church.
