MILLER CITY - Francis V. "Frank" Schnipke, 61, of Miller City, died at 1:05 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.

He was born Dec. 2, 1950 in Lima to the late Isidore and Bertha (Vennekotter) Schnipke. On Dec. 16, 1972, he married Bernadette Cutlip and she survives in Miller City.

Also surviving are three children, Carol Schnipke of Columbus Grove, Michael (Shaunda) Schnipke of Ottawa and David Schnipke of Miller City; four grandchildren; seven brothers, Bernard (Edna) Schnipke, James (Jan) Schnipke, Jerome (Sharon) Schnipke, David (Deb) Schnipke, Gregory (Nancy) Schnipke, Lawrence (Julie) Schnipke and Isidore (Vicki) Schnipke, Jr. all of Miller City; and a sister, Mary Ann Schroeder of Miller City.

Frank retired after 36 years from the maintenance department at Campbell Soup Co, Napoleon. He was also a lifelong farmer. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City and had been a member of the Army National Guard.

Graveside services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Miller City with Fr. Stephen Schroeder officiating.
