LEIPSIC - Luella C. (Mohring) "Woodyard" Pillifant, 88, of Leipsic, passed away peacefully Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012 at the Meadows of Leipsic.

One of six children, she was born in Wauseon, to Henry and Sophia (Gebers) Mohring.
Luella married Farris Woodyard and from this union they raised two sons, until his passing in 1987. She married Tom Pillifant in 1989 and he also preceded her in death in 1990.
The majority of her life was dedicated to raising her sons, with the exception of her time spent at a propeller factory during World War II.
Luella was a former member of Olivett Lutheran Church and Order of the Eastern Star. In her idle time, she enjoyed a good hand of Euchre. She enjoyed fishing and dancing.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Barry (Ann) Woodyard; daughter-in-law Carol Farmer; grandchildren, Cheri (Frey) DuFriend, Kimberly (Robert) French, Robert (Jamie) Woodyard, Veronica Woodyard and Jamie Woodyard; six great grandchildren; and her sister Lucille Cordes.
Luella was preceded in death by both husbands, son Douglas Woodyard and four siblings.
Funeral will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Reeb Funeral Home, Sylvania. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
