COLUMBUS GROVE — Malik Maxwell “Max” Patterson, 16, of North Wilkesboro, N.C. / Columbus Grove, passed onto God March 29, 2014, at 4 a.m.

Max was born Jan. 27, 1998 in Akron, to Denise (Biederman) Ogle who survives in Columbus Grove.

Max played football, basketball and soccer. He dreamed of someday playing pro football or joining the US Marine Corp. and later becoming a police officer with his older brother Nate. Max enjoyed hanging out with his friends and family, and he loved making everyone smile. He had the most amazing, unique personality, and he touched the lives of many with his beautiful smile and thoughtful words. Max took with him in his passing, a “special brother,” Damon Bradley “Brad” Anderson. May they both rest in peace. You will both be missed by many.

Survivors include: Step Father Joseph Ogle, Sister, Elizabeth Biederman, Brother, Nathaniel S. Biederman, Brother, Shelton Patterson Jr., Brother, Tony Patterson, Sister, Almetta Bennett, Sister, Nicki Young, Niece, Grace Ballinger, many other nieces and nephews, Grandmother, Jean (Terry) Van Horn, Grandmother, Dana (Gary) Biederman, Step Grandparents, John (Charlotte) Ogle, Special Aunt, Toni Farler, Many other Aunts and Uncles, many Cousins, many close friends.

He was preceded in death by: Great Grandmother, Mary “G.G.” Lombardo.

Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Chiles Laman Funeral and Cremation Services Eastside Chapel, Lima. Mark Gordon to officiate the service. Burial will be in Truro Cemetery, Columbus Grove, following the service.

Friends may call Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Chiles Laman Funeral and Cremation Services Eastside Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
