CONTINENTAL - Martha Bibler, 93, of Continental, died at 6:05 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice.
She was born Jan. 22, 1920 in Cloverdale to the late Joseph and Thresia (Becker) Brinkman. On Nov. 4, 1938, she married Lee Bibler and he died Dec. 12, 1971.
Surviving are three grandchildren, Jodi (Dave) May of Caney, Kan., Kelly (Scott) Sarka of Cloverdale and Curt (Sarah) Bibler of Continental; five great-grandchildren, Brianna Sarka, Christina Sarka, Kaytlin Bibler, Noah Bibler and Caleb Bibler; a daughter-in-law, Bertha Bibler of Continental; numerous caring nieces and nephews; and a very special nephew Darwin (Dottie) Henry of Continental.
She was preceded in death by a son Rollie Bibler; two infant children; eight sisters and four brothers.
Martha was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Continental.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 16, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Continental with Fr. Mark Hoying officiating. Burial was in Monroe Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Church.
