COLUMBUS GROVE — The 36th annual BBO (beer Bottle Open) road race will be held in Columbus Grove on Saturday, March 8.
The race will begin at 2 p.m. in downtown Columbus Grove and will be four miles long through town and out into the country and back, all on paved roads.  Registration the day of the race will begin at noon and will take place in Columbus Grove’s high school gymnasium. An awards ceremony will be held there as well, following the race.
There will be many awards given as there are many age groups for both male and female participants. Each runner will receive a coupon for one bowl of “hobo stew” and t-shirts are available for purchase while supplies last. Door prizes will be given away shortly after the race.
