16-2 Putnam County League win over Continental.
The win moved Kalida to 3-0 in the PCL and 3-7 overall. Continental is 0-3 in the league and 0-6 overall.
Swift, Brent Hovest and Jeffrey Knueve all had two run doubles in the
first inning for the Wildcats, who sent 15 batters to the plate in the
opening inning. Brady Laudick added an RBI single in the frame.
early outburst was enough for Wldcat starting pitcher Colton Farrell as
he worked four innings to pick up the win. Farrell allowed two runs on
four hits with five strikeouts and four walks. Randy Zeller pitched a
scoreless fifth inning striking out two batters.
Laudick had two hits for Kalida, while Farrell and had a hit and drove in three runs.
Terry Dockery III took the loss for Continental. Austin Mansfield and Page Thomas worked in relief.

AYERSVILLE — Miller City used a pair of big innings Monday to defeat Ayersville 9-3 in non-league action.
The Wildcats scored three time sin the third inning and five times in the fifth for the win.
Drummelsmith (2-1) picked up the win as he went the distance allowing
three runs, one earned, on two hits with six strikeouts and two walks.
Jackson Lammers, Drummelsmith and Jacob Schimmoeller all had two hits for the Wildcats (7-2).

ARCADIA — Pandora-Gilboa saved their best for last in a 6-5 Blanchard Valley Conference win over Arcadia Monday.
Rockets trailed 5-0 going to the seventh inning when they exploded for
six runs and the win. The Redskins had built their lead on the strength
of a four run fourth inning.
Alex Osborn (2-0) picked up the win
for P-G as he worked three innings allowing one run on six hits with
five strikeouts and three walks.
Osborn had a single and double at
the plate with two RBIs for the Rockets (2-2, 5-5), while Jacob
Basinger had a single and two RBIs. Jared Tousley had a double and RBI,
while Dustin Rieman and TJ Koepplinger had a single and RBI.
Baker took the loss for Arcadia as he went 6 2/3 innings. Baker and
Myles Monday both had two singles and RBI for the Redskins.

— McComb's Malachi Abbott threw a no-hitter Monday as the Panthers
topped Leipsic 11-0 in a six inning Blanchard Valley Conference game.
Abbott improved to 4-0 on the season with his no-hitter.
The Panthers scored seven times in the second inning and four times in the sixth to end the game.
Reardon had a home run and three RBIs for the Panthers (4-0, 10-1),
while Travis Clark had a single, double and five RBIs. Caden Schroeder
had three singles and an RBI.

GROVE — Bluffton scored twice in three different innings as the Pirates
topped Columbus Grove 6-4 in Northwest Conference action.
Bulldogs had a 1-0 lead after a first inning run before the Pirates
scored two runs in each of the fourth, fifth and sixth innings. Columbus
Grove scored three times in the fifth for the final score.
Verhoff took the loss for Grove. Verhoff paced the Bulldog (1-3, 6-6)
offense with two doubles, a single and two RBIs, while Reid Stechschulte
had two singles and two RBIs Riley Brubaker had a triple for the

FORT JENNINGS — Antwerp scored five times in the seventh inning Monday to secure a 7-2 non-league win over Fort Jennings.
The Archers had a 2-1 lead going to the seventh before breaking the game open.
Justice Clark picked up the win for Antwerp as he went 5 1/3 innings. Kaden Brumett worked 1 2/3 innings for the save.
Kaden Brumett had three hits and two RBIs for the Archers. Trenton Copsey had two hits and an RBI.
Jared Hoersten took the loss for the Musketeers as he went 6 1/3 innings.
