LEIPSIC - Delphos St. John's rushed for nearly 400 yards Saturday night as the Blue Jays defeated Leipsic 33-18 in a Division VII, Region 24 regional quarterfinal game at John Edwards Field.

The Vikings end the season at 8-3, while the 7-4 Blue Jays advance to face Tiffin Calvert next Saturday at a site to be determined by the OHSAA Sunday.
The Blue ran the ball 37 times Saturday night for 399 yards and five touchdowns in the win. The Blue Jays had four runs of 60 yards or better in the win. Three of the runs went for touchdowns, while an 80 yard run set up a short touchdown run.
Quarterback Nick Martz opened the scoring with a 60 yard scoring run when he took a snap around right end and ran untouched into the endzone two plays into the game.
Tyler Jettinghoff had a 62 yard scoring run and Luke MacLennan had a 67 yard scoring run in the game. MacLennan had an 80 yard run in the second quarter that setup a two yard scoring run by Jettinghoff. Martz added an eight yard scoring run in the second quarter.
MacLennan finished the game with 170 yards for the Blue Jays, while Jettinghoff had 149 yards and Martz 81 yards.
Jordan Chamberlin scored all three touchdowns for the Vikings on runs of one, 56 and five yards. He had 131 yards rushing in the game.
Zach Kuhlman was 10-of-24 passing for the Vikings for 92 yards. Nate Brecht caught six passes in the game for 42 yards and Chamberlin three passes for 31 yards.
