COLUMBUS GROVE — Columbus Grove scored four times in the third inning to post a 13-4 Northwest Conference win over Bluffton Monday.

With the game tied 1-1 going to the bottom of the third the Bulldogs scored four times for the lead. Bluffton scored three times in the fourth inning and the Bulldogs broke the game open with eight runs in the sixth inning.

Hope Schroeder (5-2) picked up the win as she allowed four runs on six hits with three strikeouts and twalks.

Schroeder was 3 for 4 at the plate with a double for Grove (3-1, 5-2), while Katie Roose and Micah Stechschulte were both 2 for 3. Brianna Glass had double for the Bulldogs.

Mackayla Wilson had a double and single for the Pirates (2-1, 7-1) and Maddie Wilson had two singles.

KALIDA — Ottawa-Glandorf's Megan Kitchen tossed a two-hitter Monday as the Titans beat Kalida 6-0 in non-league action.

The Titans scored three times in the third inning for the lead.

Tasha Cass had a triple for the Titans (7-2), while Kristen Miller, Emily Annesser and Stephanie Hempfling all had a double.

Sam Nagy took the loss for Kalida.

HAVILAND — Wayne Trace scored the final six runs to defeat Miller City 7-1 in non-league action Monday.

The Raiders scored in the first inning and the Wildcats tied the game in the fourth on a Liz Schimmoeller home run. Wayne Trace broke he tie with two runs in the fifth and they scored four times in the sixth.

Addison Baumle (5-2) picked up the win for the Raiders as she allowed one run on three hits with 13 strikeouts.

Baumle had a single, double and two RBIs and Brenda Feasby had a triple and RBI.

Liz Schimmoeller (1-3) took the loss for Miller City as she allowed seven runs on seven hits with two strikeouts.

Alissa Schnipke had two singles for the Wildcats (2-4).

MCCOMB — Leipsic used a six run fifth inning on their way to a 9-8 Blanchard Valley Conference win over McComb Monday.

The Panthers were up 3-2 going to the fifth inning when Leipsic came up with six runs for the lead. McComb scored three times in the sixth inning only to see the Vikings answer back with a run in the seventh inning. McComb finished the scoring with two runs in the bottom of the seventh.

Haley Gerten picked up the win for the Vikings. Maddie Steffan had a triple and single for Leipsic (1-2, 4-8) with two RBIs and Paige Sickmiller had a triple and single.

ARCADIA — Arcadia scored runs in four straight innings Monday to claim a 7-3 Blanchard Valley Conference softball win from Pandora-Gilboa.

The Redskins scored twice in the bottom of the first and three times in the second inning. Arcadia added single runs in the third and fourth innings. P-G scored single runs in three innings.

Ashley Baird picked up the win for Arcadia (4-0, 8-1). Baird had two doubles and three RBIs in the game. Lizzie Coward had two singles and a double for the Redskins and Maddie Mock had a single and double.

Megan Maag took the loss for the Rockets (1-4, 1-6). Hunter Hermiller had a solo home run for the Rockets. Jenna Sigler and Ashley Alt both had a single and RBI for the P-G.

OTTOVILLE — Ottoville came up a run short Monday as they fell to Ayersville 12-11 in non-league action.

The Big Green (1-6) trailed 12-8 before scoring three times in the bottom of the seventh.

Courtney Von Sossan took the loss for Ottoville as she had four strikeouts and two walks.

Haley Landwehr and Steph Horstman both had a double for the Big Green.
