Bulldogs roll by Paulding in NWC action

COLUMBUS GROVE - Dakota Vogt scored three touchdowns and Colin Grothaus threw for three scores as Columbus Grove rolled by Paulding Friday night 57-18 in Northwest Conference action on Homecoming Night at Clymer Stadium.
Vogt scored three touchdowns as he reached the endzone on runs of 42 and five yards and caught one of Grothaus' scoring passes that covered 32 yards in the second quarter.
Grothaus also hooked up with Derek Rieman for a four yard scoring strike and Blake Hoffman with a 25 yard scoring strike. Grothaus added a 19 yard scoring run, while Joey Warnecke scored on a 66 yard and caught a three yard scoring pass from Jace Darbyshire.
James Brown scored twice for Paulding on runs of 46 and three yards. Lance Foor caught a 19 yard scoring pass from Julian Salinas.
Warnecke carried the ball just six times Friday night for 129 yards and Vogt carried the ball five times for 77 yards. Grothaus was 10 of 20 passing for 159 yards and three scores. Hoffman caught two passes for 42 yards and Rieman three passes for 17 yards. Vogt had two catches for 41 yards in the win.
