COLUMBUS - It's championship Saturday at the 91st annual OHSAA boys state basketball tournament.
And two of those championship trophies could be coming back to Putnam County when the day is over as Ottawa-Glandorf and Leipsic will be playing in two of the four title games.
Ottawa-Glandorf will be aiming for its third state basketball championship as they battle Versailles at 10:30 a.m. at the Schottenstein Center. The Titans (25-3) advanced to the title game with a 61-60 overtime win over Ironton Thursday while Versailles (23-5) advanced with a win over LaBrae.
Leipsic (25-4) will be aiming for the school's first state championship in basketball as they face Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph at 4:30 p.m. The Vikings advanced to the title game with a 61-58 win over Fairfield Christian Friday afternoon, while Villa Angela-St. Joseph (24-4) advanced with a win over Troy Christian.
