Columbus Grove gets walk off win

COLUMBUS GROVE — Columbus Grove scored on an error in the bottom of the seventh inning to claim an 11-10 walk off win over Lincolnview in Northwest Conference action.
Lincolnview tied the game in the top of the seventh with two runs before the Bulldogs needed just two batters to score the winning run.
Riley Brubaker led off the Grove seventh with a single to right and he stole second base. Reid Stechschulte reached on an error that allowed Brubaker to come around and score.
The Bulldogs had scored five times in the sixth inning for the lead.
Brubaker picked up the win as he worked two innings in relief for Grove (3-4, 14-11). Brubaker also went 5 for 5 at the plate with two RBIs. Logan Diller had two hits and two RBIs and Mason Smith had two hits and three RBIs.
Miller City 4
HOLGATE — Holgate scored in just one inning, but it was enough to defeat Miller City 6-4 in non-league action Thursday.
The Wildcats had a 3-0 lead going to the bottom of the fourth before the Tigers came up with six runs. Miller City scored a run in the sixth inning.
Jacob Schimmoeller (0-1) took the loss for the Wildcats.
Jackson Lammers had two singles and a double for the Wildcats (13-5) and Jeremy Balbaugh had two doubles. Adam Drummelsmith and Ross Lehman both had a double for Miller City.
GLANDORF — Ottawa-Glandorf's Drew Schierloh pitched four shutout innings Thursday as the Titans rolled by Leipsic 15-1 in non-league action.
O-G (15-4) had an 8-0 lead before scoring seven times in the fourth inning. Leipsic scored their run in the fifth inning.
Schierloh didn't allow a run on three hits and four strikeouts.
Brad Croy had three doubles and four RBIs for the Titans, while Austin Williams had two doubles, a single and three RBIs. Andrew Wischmeyer had a double and single and Tanner Schimmoeller had two singles.
Neil Haselman took the loss for Leipsic and he had three singles for the Vikings.
