KALIDA — Continental jumped out to an early lead Friday night on their way to a 47-41 Putnam County League win over Kalida.
Pirates grabbed a 16-9 first quarter lead and were up 21-16 at
halftime. Continental regained those two points lost in the second
quarter in the third quarter with a 10-8 scoring margin before the
Wildcats finished the game with a 17-16 scoring advantage.
Wade Stauufer led the Pirates (7-12) with 14 points and Gabe Williams added 13.
Randy Zeller led the Wildcats with 13 points, while Joe Gerdeman and Devin Kortokrax both had nine points.
Kalida won the junior varsity game 48-11.
Columbus Grove 53
ADA — Columbus Grove held Ada to 11 second half points Friday night as the Bulldogs claimed a 53-36 Northwest Conference win.

a 16-7 scoring margin, then finished the game with a 15-4 scoring run.

Grant McBride had 10 points for Ada (0-7, 5-13) and Blake Willeke added nine points.

MARYS — St. Marys held off a fourth quarter charge by Ottawa-Glandorf
Friday night to post a surprising 67-59 Western Buckeye League win.
Roughriders (9-10) took a 46-40 lead to the final quarter but saw the
Titans quickly tie the game at 46-46. O-G was unable to get the lead as

within 54-53 on a Noah Bramlage three point play and an Alex Schroeder
basket before the Roughriders used a 7-0 run for an eight point lead.
