MILLER CITY - Continental blasted three home runs Tuesday afternoon as the Pirates defeated Miller City 11-0 in Putnam County League softball action.

The win moves the Pirates to 3-0 in the league and 11-6 overall. Miller City dropped to 2-2 in the league and 3-9 overall.
McKenna Scott blasted two home runs for the Pirates and drove in four runs, while Leva Weller had a home run and two RBI. Taylor Williamson had four singles for Continental, while Alex Quigley had two singles, a triple and an RBI and Kiana Warnement had two singles and an RBI.
Weller picked up the win for the Pirates as she didn't allow a run on three hits with four strikeouts.
Liz Schimmoeller took the loss for Miller City as she went 1 1/3 innings allowing eight runs on seven hits. Kylee Ricker finished the game allowing three runs on nine hits.
Morgan Inkrott had a double for the Wildcats and Alissa Schnipke two singles.
