CONTINENTAL - Continental overcame an early deficit Friday night to rally for a 62-51 Putnam County League win over Pandora-Gilboa.

The Rockets jumped out to a 14-8 lead after eight minutes before the Pirates (7-15) turned the game around in the second quarter with a 16-9 scoring run for a 24-23 halftime lead. The Pirates outscored P-G 38-28 in the second half as they closed the game with a 25-16 run in the fourth quarter.

Tyler Rue led Continental with 16 points and seven rebounds. Chaz Slattman finished with 15 points and Tyler Dockery added 11 points.

Brian Schneck led the Rockets with 14 points, while Seth Schmenk added 12 points and Abe Basinger finished with 11.

Continental won the junior varsity tilt 34-25.

Miller City 66

Hicksville 40

HICKSVILLE - A big second quarter helped Miller City defeat Hicksville Friday night 66-40 in non-league action.

The Aces had a 10-8 lead after the opening quarter before the Wildcats (16-6) turned the game in the second quarter with a 19-7 scoring run for a 27-17 halftime lead. Miller City had a 45-34 lead after three quarters before outscoring Hicksville 21-6 in the fourth quarter.

Ross Kaufman led the Wildcats with 20 points, while Austin Lammers had 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Connor Yoder led the Aces with 16 points.

Hicksville won the junior varsity game 28-26.

Kalida 69

Fairview 39

KALIDA - Kalida closed out the regular season Friday night with a 69-39 non-league win over Fairview.

The Wildcats had a 15-12 lead after the opening quarter before using a 24-9 run in the second quarter for a 39-21 halftime lead.

Cody Mathew drained five three-pointers for Kalida as he finished with 21 points. Devin Kortokrax and Austin Horstman both had 12 points for the Wildcats.

D. Smith and R. Graziani both had 11 points for the Apaches.

Kalida won the junior varsity game 57-21.

Columbus Grove 53

Delphos Jefferson 35

DELPHOS - Columbus Grove doubled up on Delphos Jefferson in the first half Friday night as the Bulldogs claimed a 53-35 Northwest Conference win.

At the stage in Delphos, the Bulldogs jumped out to a 20-8 first quarter lead and were up 36-18 at the break with a 16-10 second quarter scoring run.

Will Vorhees led a balanced Grove attack with 12 points and Brady Shafer finished with 11 points.

Ross Thompson led the Wildcats with 11 points.

Columbus Grove won the junior varsity game.

Wayne Trace 55

Ottoville 50

HAVILAND - Wayne Trace outscored Ottoville in three of four quarters Friday night to post a 55-50 non-league win.

The Raiders (20-2) opened the game with an 11-10 lead after the opening quarter and were up 28-26 at halftime. After both teams scored 13 points in the third quarter the Raiders closed out the game with 14-11 scoring run for the win.

Dalton Sinn led the Raiders with 18 points and Colby Spiece finished with 12 points.

Tyler Roby led the Big Green (8-14) with 15 points and Ryan Honigford added 14 points.
